Challenge

Business spent more for their PC, users spent more time to find the function from fancy interfaces. System administrators spent more time to apply patches for everyone’s PC. Viruses, Worms, Trojans and spywares from everywhere attack every PC in your office day and night. Users need to do defragment every week to keep their hard drive working well, but data lost and system crashes are never stopped. Not all applications are working fine under structure of Thin Client. Web Browser and Java Machine consume too much system resource from Terminal Server. System administrators still need to reconfigure every Thin Client after system infrastructure or server setting is changed. Thin Client can only support limited terminal protocol like RDP (Microsoft) or ICA (Citrix), it will be very complicate and difficult to modify after being purchased. Most of Thin Clients are using Microsoft Windows CE as their operating system, which is poor on media playback. Even an expensive Windows XP Embedded cannot deliver a seamless full screen video. LightBox can solve all the problems mentioned above.
